No, "one" person caused this mess.. it was caused by a large number of people... Barney Frank is a big reason but not the biggest and not the only one...
OHHHH, so you just have to play the gay card! He made fun of his New England/East Mass. accent, and if you had read what he said, you would have probably realized that. Oh, but no, we're off making personal attacks on people, in CLEAR violation of the TOS (which I've personally been called for twice in two days), and getting away scot-free! Your opinions get heard! Oh, but the conservative comes on and voices his opinion in exactly the same fashion and he's silenced!
If you were tos'd, how come you're still able to post on here? usually, they keep you off for a few days until you've proved that you'll be good. besides that, most of the moderators are conservative.
What caused this recession in my opinion is globel competition so that job loss, wage suppression, and short sided corporate behavior became widespread. Our economy is bad because we are under the illusion that we are best at everything and no one can compete. In a globel economy we will end up looking like the rest of the world. Good intent mutated to greed. Both parties are at fault for this recession not one person.
Good, make fun of someone who is gay.
You're such a beacon of maturity.
Are you dsl's clone?
His being gay is not germane to my post. He's a public person so he's fair game.
That he can't string together a cogent and coherent sentence just makes him, and those who vote for him or support him otherwise, that much more pathetic. Frank or more precisely 'Fwank' is quite open about his lack of responsibility for any aspect of the recession. I dispute that and am curious as to what others opinions are on the matter, excluding yours of course.

I have heard House members on both sides of the isle refer to Frank as the smartest member of house.
The fact that you have to use kindergarten playground insults to belittle him says more about you than it does him.
As far as Frank causing the meltdown, he had as much responsibility for that as Republicans are responsible for the health care bill.
If you didn't care if he's gay, why make fun of his name and speech impediment which has been associated with his gayness?
Your maturity level is telling...
I am truly amazed that so many people do recognize that Frank,Dodd, Shumer, & Pelosi are indeed the ones responsible for the recession. It is refreshing, validating, and encouraging to know there are by sample at least intelligent people in this world after all. He in fact may weill have a speech impediment due to his gayness. His mouth may be worn out from well...you know.

I didn't know that Bahney talked that way because he is gay. I thought that it was some kind of impediment but then maybe you are the one that is right.
The recession began under George W. Bush. If anyone deserves the blame, he and his administration do.
It is even dumber right now since it stands at 24 yes and 6 no. I guess you lefties may be wrong this time. Darned sure on this poll.
