I feel you, but, how does one balance the First Amendment, both the right to speech and association, with limiting corporate participation in politics?

Well, they should create a party then and run for the House's seats on behalf of the different corporations.

Good luck with that. The Republicans are bought and paid for by Corporate/Banking shills.
Now the Democrats got a taste of the good life and you can bet they won't give it up.

"where is the limit between influence and bribe?"

"Well, they should create a party then and run for the House's seats on behalf of the different corporations."

I posed a serious question, one that will shortly be considered by the Supreme Court, mistakenly I did it on C-D?

We need campaign finance laws where only individuals can donate to political campaigns and there would be a cap on how much a single individual could give. No corporations, unions, PACs or any of that kind of stuff! Hey, let me dream. And while were at it, let's curtail the power of lobbyists and prohibit Goldman Sachs from having their shills in the government to screw things up again.

It's deeper than that. We are enslaved to the Fed. They are the puppetmaster that control both parties. Until we rid the country of these private offshore bankers that run the currency of this country and own both parties, we will never be a true Contitutional Republic. Here's a snip of Bernanke getting grilled and a short history of the FRAUD of the FED!

The Bush presidency is a good example of what happens when corporations run the government. Do we really want them to keep running the country into the ground for their benefit?

would this include money from individuals and businesses that would profit because of climate change?

if so, then I would be all for getting algore out of politics once and for all.
