I was just thinking the same thing.

The "yes" suspiciously shot up in a matter of ten minutes. It's also pretty obvious that certain posters here have numerous alter-egos. They are all very similar (Read: Insane hate), the style of writing is often the same, and the grammar (poor) is a dead give away. It doesn't take much to realize it, especially before the election, it was SPAM central. I think we all know who the culprit is.

That being said, I would like to see somebody (real or fake) put up a legit reason why he should get the boot. So far we've had Jr. High hyperbole that mirrored pre-election fear mongering from the usual suspect. Other than that....nothing.

Can you imagine having such hatred for Obama or being so bizarre that you create fake usernames on City-Data just to increase the vote total on a forum poll?

Well, let's see.

He's taken over the auto industry, well, two manufacturers at least. He forced one CEO out and replaced him with his own lackey. He screwed the original investors with his takeover and rewarded his union pals with a piece of the company they didn't deserve.

He's taken over the banking industry.

His pay czar is setting compensation limits not just for the CEOs, but also for other executives.

They plan to expand this to the financial sector, whether they have taken bailout money or not.

With the news he released on Dec 24th regarding Fannie and Freddie, that's another that he will be taking over and remaking in his image.

Let's not forget about Health Care and the plans for a government takeover, massive regulation, massive taxes, massive rationing.

Just for starters.

I was about to ask what his impeachable offense was...

From a quick look 6 all joined the same day and have zero posts. A couple others joined around the same time, and have low post counts. Coincidence? No way in hell.

I think we safely know who it is.

GM is already set to pay a majority of the loan back this year, and the rest next year. QUIT LYING.

TARP has been paid back by numerous banks. Again, you're paranoid accusations that this is somehow a play towards "Socialism" are getting weaker each time a bank pays it's loan money back. Anybody with a brain understand why loans were given, and that it was not a move to take "Take over" the banking industry. QUIT LYING.

Yes, those who received tax payer money. And unlike what you keep implying Czars do not have absolute power. QUIT LYING.

Apparently you have not kept up with the health care debate at all. You're sooooo 2008 here. None of this is happening, and the rest are more predictions that aren't going to happen either.

Do us all a favor, and QUIT LYING.

You mean those weren't rational opinions?

“In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

Obama

Can it be any clearer what and who he is?

More than likely, they simply didn't know it.

Nor did they cry "Socialism" when Bush first enacted TARP.

Of course none of them complained when Bush sent them checks to go shopping then either.

Of course NOW they say they were against it the entire time, but I'd bet you dollars to donuts they didn't say jack shyt about it back then.
Because for them to have consciously voted for Socialist policies would be appalling to them, so they justified them when Bush was in power and now rage when it's "the other guy".

What's hilarious is the same "destroying our country" hyperbole was in effect when Clinton took over, and he turned out to be one of the most effective presidents in modern history.

We're not dealing with great analytical minds here. Hatred can always be justified. It's the easy path. Try loving thine enemy.

Hey, genius - I dare you to finish that quote.

Seriously. Let's see if you have the cajones to prove yourself wrong. You did well to take a quote you got on an email forward that was very purposely structured so that it would be read COMPLETELY out of context and the lower-intelligence target audience would never think to challenge it.

But - do it now. Read the whole section and get back to me. I'll be awaiting your apology in my pink slippers and smoking jacket.
