Personally, I would hope that Clinton was still in office, with a GOP majority. The US was flourishing under Bill's and Newt's leadership, despite their butting heads sometimes. I miss the 90s

Obama has been doing a pretty good job. I just wish he'd press the liberal agenda a little harder. It's nice not having a government that tries to keep you terrified.

If a third choice was offered, I would say Ronald Reagan. The Jihad terrorists wouldn't be pulling this crap if the Gip were in office.

Bush was a sellout when it came to border security, or at least had weak knees for sure. However, he was far more on top of our national security and this current administration is not competent to run this country.

I consider myself a conservative, more or less. It blows my mind that this poll is 50/50.

Bush has all of the worst aspects of conservatism rolled into one disaster of a politician.

Obama is a liberal, but a tolerable one.

It's OK WCW if you misspelled BO's name, I'm sure we all know who you meant.

George W. Bush by far. I don't give a damn about grandiose speeches. I give a damn about leadership ability- something Barack Obama simply does not have.
