Because the government is in the process of amasing data about health care and has sold out to the insurance companies. In a few short years we'll be bailing out the government from it's payments to these companies.

Transparency is a fictional term created by the Republicans and endorsed by all Democrats. Freedom of Information Act requests are the only balance. Right now there is limitation on the information you can obtain yet every day more information is obtained and cataloged.

Don't agree? Well consider that several IT organizations have been at ends with the government. Also consider that there has been a considerable amount of taxpayer money spent on the current debates, much of with has to do with the information collected about you.

Sure, our elected officials need to have information about the populace in order to arrive at reasonable decisions. But do they need all the information that they obtain?

If you don't think that the government is tracking activity on the internet then that is foolish. But what exactly do they track? Are they tracking worldwide traffic? The Obama Administration set its focus on controlling the internet. Is this something from fiction or the result of years of corporate collaboration?

Will someone in Hollywood contact me because I've got a perfect thriller that they might want to buy.

I'm 52 years old, and life has never been better. If the government has been spying on me through the years, and since life has gotten much more rewarding as time passes, I hope the government spies on me more and more.
