For those of you who believe that the mainstream news media is liberally biased, do you feel like your views are being marginalized and stigmatized?

Really? I don't think that's the way most of your sympathizers handle it. They might change the channel, but then they also have a need to vent about it - a lot.

By immediatelly applying labels before discussion, it appears you are the one attempting to marginalize and stigmatize those who feel most media outlets have a liberal bias .
odd.

No, I wouldn't have said those things if they weren't true. It's become completely routine now for many conservatives to vent on a daily basis about the so-called liberal media and play the role of victim.

Why would I feel victimized? This is america, and I have the freedom to turn off offensive programming. There is more to getting real news than just the mainstream media. There is the radio, internet, newspapers (although most do also lean left, not all do), magazines, cable news. It's all good.

Mainstream media appeals to the masses that want their daily spoon-fed garbage. Thankfully, we have options.

Hmm. That makes me wonder: Is Fox News considered part of the mainstream media? They are the most popular cable news network, after all.

Not only is the liberal media biased, but most Hollywood movies are very left leaning as well. It's a shame most parents have no idea what their children are watching. Someone needs to advocate family values in Hollywood movies rather than this crap they put out nowdays. Fortunately, the left leaning bias is backfiring (as shown by recent polls of the biased media), so maybe this will spread to cinema also. the passion did very well, for example.

Mainstream media is like NBC, CBS, ABC. Cable news is cable news. Inherently two different animals.

Do I think Fox news is becoming more and more mainstream? Yes, but in the literal sense as its viewership is growing substantially. I would still not consider them mainstream media.
