I've come across alot of articles and I'm sure there are more. We should be really concerned about this. You are lead to believe the FDA does everything to protect you. I'm not so sure anymore.
I'm quickly coming to the conclusion that they have became our foe!!! They may have began as a protection for the american people but have since fell into a bad habit of lining their pockets for funding or other corruption that now have little to do with the protection and health needs of our nation. When will people begin to stand up again for what is right or wrong in this nation? How many citizens and family will die and suffer before we say enough is enough? Unfortunately, this generation breeds sloths who don't see past a football game or the next holiday and have no pride or motivation to change the evil and corruption that plagues us. It's time to bring back the big guy, our lord & savior, the one we have worked hard to shut out and stand up for what is our right to protect, our nation and the future of our children!!!
They are foes, when folks who don't like disturbing Big Pharma are in power and they are our friend when folks who like regulation has them hold Big Phrama feet to the fire. Every agency in the Federal government is a TOOL of the administration, as it should be. If you want the FDA to be a friend of the public, then vote for their boss to be a friend of the public, if you want them to be a friend of Big Pharma, then vote for a boss who is friendly to Big Pharma.
I once got an A on a one question law quiz when I was asked how a regulatory agency would rule on a particular case. My answer, "it depends on who appointed the board."
