Look, you haven't the faintest clue ... green house gasses ... heard that on fox news aye? Guess what? Water vapor makes up 98 % of those green house gasses, and since the planet is 70% water, it ain't going away.

Secondly, of the green house gasses, CO2 is such a miniscule part, it would barely show up as a thin line on a pie chart. Furthermore, 99.98 of that miniscule amount of CO2 comes from nature (read: not man's activities).

Now the real kicker ... global warming is not caused by green house gasses, and certainly not CO2 ... increases in CO2 levels are a RESULT OF global warming, and doesn't precede global warming.

And the real funny thing is that this increase in CO2 caused by global warming doesn't show up until 300 years after the warming period that caused it.

Educate yourself and quit regurgitating propaganda.

And to the OP. In 1990, All of KY was in USDA Zone 6 with highest points in Zone 5. According to studies, observations and teperatures, KY is now mostly Zone 7 -- but the official government maps are resistant to change. The Arbor Day Foundation This is based on observations from 5,000 climate stations in the US.
Yes indeed, and with most of these climate stations situated in urban areas whose artificial temperature averages much higher than of the suburbs, these figures aren't just worthless, they're opposite the truth.

Nasa global surveillance satellites show that the earth ground level as well as upper atmosphere has been cooling since 1998.

And the overall trend has shown that there has been no relative change in global temperature averages over the past 150 years .... in spite of the bovine excrement being spread by his Goriness, Al (I'm a big fat liar) Gore.

It's a scam. It is fodder for fools and idiots. NOTHING MORE THAN A POWER GRAB to control energy, and tax you into oblivion.

WAKE UP!!!!!!

You should not be making such ridiculous assertions. It is you who has no foundation in reality, much less science.

Global warming precedes increases in CO2 levels by about 300 years, therefore it is abject nonsense to say that it causes global warming, hence the fraud in man made global warming. It always has been, and still is THE SUN.

If you were to investigate and study the issue rather than spouting off about that which you know absolutely nothing, you might learn something.

So if the weather has nothing to do with global warming, then what is the reason why we are having such crazy weather?

>>>> The sun's been at an historic low point in sunspot activity for the last two or so years, and that's contributed to the cooling patterns. Also volcanic activity diperses alot of particles into the atmosphere which helps block out solar warming. This happened in the early 90s with Mt. Pinnatubo. We had night time temps in the upper 30s in early June that year.
The El Nino/La nina also has alot to do with it, although its influence is usually exaggerated because even scientists aren't certain how it can affect weather precisely. A weak El nino might have the opposite effect of a strong one at times or not even be a factor.

Global Warming: Exposing the Far Left’s Lies, Part 1 | NewsReal Blog

Climate Change Timeline – 1895-2009 « But Now You Know

the carbon tax was proposed to make money by the ones proposing it...why do you think all the 3rd world countries wouldn't vote yes and they made Obama look like an idiot when he was so sure that everyone would give into Al Gore's theory..hell we all know Al Gore invented the internet too...lol...whatever

Global Warming is a fraud...how can you make it ok to use your vehicle if u pay a tax to do so when u will still be polluting the planet and causing man made global warming...that doesn't make sense...it's all about money and as u see in the charts in my links we have begun a cooling period the last few years
I started to read this thread since it is 38 in Fort Myers Fl now with a high of 43 today. Sunday night we are supposed to have a low of 28. I know it's all about climate change not global warming. But then I watched people build thousands of homes in my area several years ago being told "Don't worry, you will be able sell them for big money no problem". People will believe anything if you know exactly how to convince them. Problem is not all people are that gulliable and have some common sense.

What I am trying to say is people, read this persons response and read it more than once if it still confuses you. This is what "Global Warming" or "Climate Change" is all about. Money for a certain crowd of people, nothing more, nothing less. Wake up everyone, these politicians have some of you fooled. Stand back and look at the big picture and put your beliefs you have now aside. If you are true and honest to yourself you might feel a little embarrassed of how they have roped you in. Think for yourself and be honest to yourself, trust me you will feel like a big weight was just lifted off your shoulders.

Both major political parties do not have your best interest in mind, only there own personal interest and that of the big players who feed them the money they survive on. And if you can't see that you are not really looking hard enough at our political system we have in place today.

Good luck in life and if this Cap and Trade ever passes I think China might not be a bad place to live.

Climate change, which, at present, is occurring at 4 times the rate at the poles as it is in your home in Kentucky. But with the recent bitter cold, that ratio may actually be changing, and likely will change whether or not man tries to reduce his contribution towards the problem or not.
