They pull out the race card when they have no legitimate point to make. It's what they resort to for their last ditch effort. It's lame, but it's all they got.
No one even watches CSPAN anyways. What's with all the fuss?
If you want to know what is going on in congress you had better watch C-Span. You certainly won't get the correct story from the news stations. Sometimes the news you hear about what you saw happen on C-span is so different that you think the news person must have been watching something else.
Well, you don't really see what's going on in Congress on C-SPAN. It's a huge plus, but I think almost anyone would tell you that the real business of Congress moved off the floor once the cameras were turned on. Some of the committee hearings are the real deal, perhaps especially some of the markup sessions, but people need to talk one-on-one to get things done and nobody can do that with a camera in his or her face...
