According to a United Nations climate report released last week, the world must cut its carbon emissions drastically by 2020 or face an increase in global temperature of 3.6 degrees Fahrenheit or more by the end of the century. Here’s how global warming will affect daily life if major action is not taken: How Climate Change Will Affect You | The Onion - America's Finest News Source
This is the Onion, but sadly there is more truth here than what deniers believe.
The only people I see running around and yelling are those who are ridiculously claiming things like:
"It's all a leftist marxist librul commie socialist scam to create a world government and force taxes on us and steal from us and kill poor people and all the scientists are on the gubmint gravy train and are falsifying all the data!!!!!! CO2 is plant food!!!! There's snow in my backyard so it's all a big hoax!!!!!! And and ...Al Gore!!!!!"
Then you must not be listening to the "global warming/climate change" alarmists.
Then you could at least discuss it with some knowledge.
I said "climate change" has been happening for hundreds of millions of years. Is that not true? Does that somehow mean I "know nothing" about climate science?
A tip for you: don't worry about "climate change." We will survive it!
For future reference, the answer is probably always going to be b.
Now that answers it for us. The fact that we are under 20 feet of water is not changed by the fact that the shore line has not changed in 100 years. You can't look a the evidence, it's more complicated than that.
I still want to know when the Ice Age that started in the 1970's ended. It's hard to tell these things.

If you think it's nothing to worry about then, yeah, you pretty much know nothing about climate science. Naively saying "the climates changed for hundreds of millions of years" means nothing unless you have a clue how it changed in the past, why it's different now due to human activities and what the effects are likely to be based on what has happened in the past with abrupt rapid climate changes, rather than the slow changes that take 1000's of years.
A tip for you: Learn something about the science and the evidence before dismissing it so casually.
I don't care what their statement says. These people are bought and paid for by shills for the Big Government socialists, anti-capitalists, the environmental lobby; people who have an agenda. They are against "Big Oil" against "fracking," against nuclear power, anti-coal, against progress of any kind that they think is damaging to the environment; and, this so-called "global warming" (or "climate change," if you prefer) crisis was designed to change behaviors to their liking. They want us to use less oil, they oppose "fracking," they think we consume to much of everything, and they propose alternatives that are more expensive, do not provide satisfactory results, (so-called "green" energy), they cannot supply the needs of our industries (which is just fine with them) and the consumer gets screwed while the Al Gore's are laughing all the way to the bank.
And, have we forgotten the revelation of the emails a few years ago which exposed this whole so-called "crisis" as a hoax; papers supposedly "peer reviewed," but only by like minded individuals? That may be the scandal of the century.
Talk about uninformed.....John Coleman? You should really check your sources....He has no expertise in climate science...None....He's just another denier who's opinions are worthless.
