No. Oprah's viewer base is pretty much the exact OPPOSITE of Sarah Palin's. Besides, Oprah gives away cars and talks about heartfelt stories. Palin crucifies the father of her grandchild and can't keep her own daughter in line. Palin might be a better protege for Jerry Springer.
Would you tune in to watch Sarah Palin if she were to take over Oprah's time slot in 2011? Would this be a good idea for Palin's career?
She would have no where the same ratings. Maybe she should start in some small local station and show and see how it goes, she has not shown she even has the tallent or following to sustain a long running talk show. If she were to get the time slot you do know she would not be talking politics full time, the stations would put a halt to that themselves, it would have to be fluff like Opara runs or nothing at all.

I don't watch Oprah much to begin with. However, I think Sarah would be better on a talk show than in national politics. If she had a show with topics interesting to women and moms I might actually watch every so often. Her interview on Oprah is the only time I've found her even remotely relatable. If she starts talking about socialism and death panels, I'm changing the channel.

This will only work if Palin can bring the cast of "Hee Haw" with her
