Trent Lott had to step down for less. Yea, Reid should swing swing for this. Just because he's a Dem does not give him a pass. This will get downplayed, and he will get the pass, I'm sure, however, he's in trouble here at home. He won't make another term, so it's really irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Definitely give Reid a pass. Every time he opens his mouth he embarrasses his party. I love the guy.

Another dumb, one-sided poll. Those were some mighty poor choices. So what that Harry Reid said what he did. His deeds on behalf of African Americans have spoken otherwise. My grandmother still says "colored" people, so what?

And here we have the typical liberal...

More upset over a one sided poll, then the racist comments being made by Reid, because it was a member of their party. I dont once for a second think you would think "so what" had similar comments been made by a Republican...

Im a typical liberal, and I think he should resign. I dont think the comment was that bad, but I do think if a republican said it there would be hell to pay.

They seem to work together well enough. I think Obama's used to this sort of thing, being an adult.

How come you're not complaining about this: Harry Reid: 'I Don't Work For Obama'

(Haha - right now on prairie Home Companion garrison Keillor is talking about an old Norwegian bachelor farmer who has it in his mind that Barack Obama is Swedish, "and if he's not, why doesnt he deny it?")
