I was referring to HCR legislation taking place behind closed doors. And yes, the HCR legislation will affect 1/6-1/5th of our economy respective of the senate vs. house bill.

The Tea Party Movement meetings are about as welcoming as a Klan rally.

I'm interested in hearing an explanation of that statement.

People who have personally experienced racism in any way, shape or form can recognize that "movement" for exactly what it is at it's core.

The undertones (and the overtones) of the movement are bigoted wrapped in the guise of a "tax revolt" yet many of the protesters have made their true attacks against the racial identity of the president and not his policies.

Not to mention the fact that the protests ignore the ills of the policies of the previous administration and practically started on Obama's inauguration day.

I have about as much need to attend a "Tea Party" meeting as I would a Neo-Nazi rally. Neither one of those groups would care to see my lil brown face at their meetings.

What are they trying to hide? This is not the way to gain credibility.

You really are kidding me!

Credibility when your party is hiding behind closed doors and wont even allow ELECTED officials in on the talks.

It takes guts to even ask this question.

Like someone else said, how come we dont see the already proven fraudulent group named Acorn on CSpan then?

They ARE getting government money ya now! So we have the right to know what they are doing.

The tea party people have the right to talk without some looney tune Kool-Aid party person listening.

Your are welcome at a tea party, but you can bet I would not be welcome to a panther party now would I?

You should go, maybe you will learn something.
