Real change? Ok. This is what I would like to see:
1) get rid of each and every illegal immigrant. They are sucking out way too much.
2) STOP all immigration to the United States for around 5 years/change immigration laws to make it harder to qualify getting in here
3) STOP letting foreigners collect money at the end of the month when they havent worked a DAY in the US.
4) Get stricter with punishments. I am sick and tired of seeing rapists or murders get off.
5) Make English our official language
6) End these god damned wars
7) reduce taxes
8) REFORM education with both government and private companies working together
9) Tax breaks to business, of course
10) impose heavy fines on companies found hiring illegals
11) legalize gay marriage
12) stop discussing abortion in American politics. It is simply not important, in my opinion and a waste of time discussing.
13) Get a better health care reform bill
14) REFORM WELFARE
15) If your company was bailed out, the CEO should NOT BE GETTING BONUSES. Bail me out please! Sorry. Not rich enough to be bailed out, eh?
16) stop playing world police. Mind our own business.
17) Care about The PEOPLE (FOR ONCE!)
18) Unite our beliefs and try to attain the perfect balance of liberalism and conservative
19) When Congress or Senators are found cheating or not doing their jobs, MORE OF US NEED TO STAND UP TO THEM.
20) Create more jobs by hiring responsible people to watch where the money goes. Too many kids in one area? Build a school but make sure there are certain people that watch how the money is spent
21) get rid of affirmative action!
22) Fund science to find out if Global Warming is indeed real and obviously to research for diseases and cures.
23) RESEARCH for technology.

Awww...hell. I might as well write a book because NO ONE in power will listen to The People!

Face it, Both the R's and D's are scum!

If you ran for president, you would get my vote (although I still don't agree with you on abortion) everything else is right in line with my thinking as well

The Changes you would like to believe in for 2010.

Courage from the people and the will to seek real political change. Conservatives and Liberals returning to their traditional roots and acting on behalf of their core principles instead of contemporary party rhetoric. A humble less interventionist foreign policy and an end of using militarism as a tool to progress that policy. Greater focus on the quality of education to better prepare our children for a technological centered future. Substantial development of any energy sources that remove our reliance on foreign sources of petroleum. Citizenship which includes civic duty instead of pure unadulterated exceptionalism. A press not guided by corporate interest. An end to our imperial Presidency and a return to political accountability, and a people willing to risk their comfort today to promulgate a better future for their children. Living within our means.

Hey, if you are going to dream, then might as well dream big right?

Why should they? The people are too busy defending their party rhetoric of choice that has created a pendulum effect that merely bounces back and forth between the establishment political body. As long as people are yelling taste great, less filling, the nation is being looted by the robber barons of the day.

If people want to be heard then they have to send the right message and end our modern era of incumbency politics.

Yes because morals are so terrible

I dont want to live in a country without them. Look at what this country is turning into now

The changes I would like to see is for the people to realise that socialism is a fake,a phoney,a fantasy,it doesn't work...
So the voters vote either Reps or centrist Dems but capitalist ones, like Lieberman...

Well then I will send you my book I am writing. Perhaps you might actually find my political thinking accurate. LOL.

Thank you for your compliment. It means a lot. I would have loved to run for president. I am Canadian born though. So that ruined it. I was brought to the USA at age 1 because dad found a job. Dont get me wrong, I am legal. I am a US citizen of 20 years (I am 21). Just not born here.

Screw the presidency, start up your own multinational conglomerate. Why be the puppet when you can be the puppet master?

Now this is what I don't like about Canucks. We are kind enough to let you guys take our jobs and women but you guys have a problem with us doing the same.

Nice to know you're legal in more ways than one.

4. The Supreme Court and Dodd reform public campaign financing.
5. Restore Glass-Steagall and any organization that is Too Big To Fail needs to be cut down to size.
6. Invest heavily in public infrastructure, developing energy efficient products and in building a clean (no nuclear), green alternative energy based economy.
7. The health reform bill is killed in the courts BUT with the restraints on corporate spending a new bill is created that actually helps rather than hurt private citizens.

You are absolutely correct the Dems had the whole world swooning over them and if they can't get anything done, they are just pathetic.
I agree with everything except your "no nuclear" number 6.

We are not technologically advanced enough to get off of fossil fuels for energy demands while simultaneously changing to other non-nuclear energy sources.

I don't want an unstable power grid.

I'm not a fan of having nuclear waste lying around. I have watched an interesting science show on nuclear fusion as a potential power source. If there are no harmful side effects I would be in support of this.
