Here Newt is doing one of his BEST speeches of all time and not one prog in the room. You know that is true by the response of the audience and the topic he is talking about. Listen to all of it to get the real point.

Ol' Newt is a tremendous public speaker. He can, as Jerry Clower's used to say, forever more shuck down the corn.

But, speeches are just that....speeches. They're words and nothing more. What's more important is just how he would translate those marvelous words into concrete action.

For an indication of that, I'd suggest you compare his words in the Contract With America with his actions as Speaker of the House. You might find that his great speeches are nothing more than hot air designed to fool the masses into giving him the power to follow his REAL agenda.

Don't be deceived by a great orator. That's what got Germany into such trouble.

He's such an amazing hypocrite that the words coming out of his mouth have lost all meaning. You don't get credibility in preaching moral and family values when you break your own code at a whim to advance your own agenda and sex life.

As the paragon of family values, he served his wife divorce papers while she was in the hospital recovering from a mastectomy, to marry his mistress a few months later. This was during his championing the impeachment trial of Bill Clinton for lying about Monica (even posted on FOX News).

FOXNews.com - Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich Acknowledges Having Affair During Clinton Impeachment - Politics | Republican Party | Democratic Party | Political Spectrum

The issue of him using tax exempt funding to forward his political gains was never debated as well, since he resigned after being reprimanded but before charges were investigated.

LOLOLOL Surely you jest.

Newt Gingrich may be many things. He will NEVER be a great speaker.

Honestly, the desperation of the right is charming, if nothing else.

Go ahead and listen to this video. You jumped in here with no knowledge of what he said and went after him with no knowledge of his words. Sorry, but you stick out like a sore thumb. Discuss his words and not his past to prove to me that you hear him.

The man is brilliant!

It will take someone like him with his brains to fix the mess Obama will leave us in.

Match him with Romney the financial wizard and we can pay off all the debt Obama is piling up in no time.

Go Newt!

I guess you failed to see the video I linked, also. Please rest assured that I never thought you would lower yourself to watching it.

Now, go ahead and listen to the speech. You may like this fifth segment so much that you will listen to the rest.

You are still talking without knowledge and it gets way beyond humorous.

I liked that part of his speech on that video but our prog friends just can't let themselves see what he said. Of course, that is a part of the "protect my brain from anything not progressive" they use all the time.
