No, this isn't a bashfest for liberals. You either find Rush's comments highly distasteful, or you don't. Either way, it actually has nothing to do with politics in truth, more like morality and a sense of right and wrong. BTW, I am not a liberal or a democrat and I'm really no fan of Barack Obama, but I still found Rush's comments to be downright awful, along with his sense of timing.

It's blasphemous for Limbaugh to have made his "alleged" comments,...but is acceptable for the left to wish for the death of both Limbaugh and "all his followers". Is that not the height of hypocrisy??

No, it wasn't about Haiti, I'm sure you missed the point though. It was about our commander in chief sitting on his butt for 3 days after a terrorist almost killed a plane full of people over our soil.
And that was accomplished by comparing it to the immediate reaction to Haiti, in which thousands more people are trapped under rubble and thousands more require immediate medical attention or they will die, and not just be inconvenienced.

I mean yes its tragic and haiti is in really bad shape, but we are not doing so well ourselves. Why not let Haiti's neighbors help them out? Or maybe China? China seems to have an abundance of cash these days. Or how about Europe?

It wasn't criticizing the immediate reaction to Haiti, it was pointing out that Obama just really didn't care much about the attempt to blow up an airplane as he easily could have spoken immediately about. Instead, he had his idiot Napolitano out telling everyone the system worked perfectly.

Now, I want you to remember, it took him three days to respond to the Christmas Day Fruit of Kaboom Bomber, three days. And when he came out after those three days, he was clearly irritated that he had to do it. He didn't want to do it. He comes out here in less than 24 hours to speak about Haiti.

The people of Haiti will have the full support of the United States in the urgent effort to rescue those trapped beneath the rubble and to deliver the humanitarian relief, the food, water, and medicine that Haitians will need in the coming days.

I don't have the whole press conference, but I wonder did he apologize for America before acknowledging we are the only people on earth that can possibly help 'em out down there in any significant way? No American was killed on that flight. Honestly, were you so distraught from this that you needed immediate reassurance from Obama?
The situation in Hatti, however, is quite different. These people are injured, suffering, dying, without potable water, without shelter, without food, without medical help, etc.....

I certainly don't need Obama to reassure me as he is completely incapable of doing so because he has proven himself to be an incompetent moron when dealing with issues of national security. Its not like Obama has any trouble getting some cameras an airtime. Basically, his silence for 3 days showed that dealing with terrorism is low priority for him. I guess when you have a director of homeland security who refuses to use the word terrorism, you can't be very serious about dealing with it.

Do you not see how the situation in Haiti is much more needing of an immediate reaction than a situation in which none have died and none are presently in danger of dying? People have died in Haiti and more will die with or without our help, but far fewer with it. Whether you care about that or not you can't pretend that this situation isn't more urgent.
