Members of a Washington anti-war group are suing an Army intelligence analyst, as well as the city of Olympia and several of its police officials, claiming their organization was illegally infiltrated and that the information gathered was used to make wrongful arrests.
In a lawsuit filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Seattle, 13 people alleged John J. Towery, a civilian intelligence analyst at Fort Lewis, attended their meetings and demonstrations using a false identity and relayed information about them to law-enforcement authorities, such as Seattle's Joint Terrorism Task Force.

That's an interesting story, and very similar to stories of the '60s where, again, there would be more
informants than members of pacifist groups at times. It's interesting that America claimed the Prince of Peace as its own, yet continue to harass and vilify his followers. Nothing more terrifying than the threat of Seattle grunge rockers out to take over the country. I hope they win their case.
Bit by bit we are seeing the erosion of the Rule of Law in the U.S and the undermining of the Constitution.
I thought Obama would have at least stopped it for awhile but he's not much better than the Bush Administration was.

Why don't you direct to us to one your posts from back when Bush was in charge taking him to task for his law breaking and/or unconstitutional actions?
That way you will not come off as a hypocrite.
