I just have a question to ask because im trying to understand how come states like Nj(my home state) send more tax money to Washington than say, Alabama, but yet Nj, California, etc have bigger state debt? It cant be because of bigger social programs in those states because the social programs are just about equal in every state. since $100,000 is not the same in Ny as in South Carolina how could the tax codes be more fair to alleviate that? Someone in Ny paying $10,000 in income taxes is going to have a rougher time paying it than someone in Tennessee. The real kicker is who has been telling people that make $30,000 that they pay income tax? For instance, I heard someone(Im in a southern state) say they are tired of seeing their tax dollars going to pay for welfare but when i pointed out they pay no income taxes since they make so little they just stared at my like a came from out of space. sorry i have nothing against poor states but it pains me to see my home state suffer because washington is to busy sending my tax dollars elsewhere to other states that imo, dont deserve it.

That's why I just roll my eyes and laugh at any Republican from a red state here when they whine about taxes. The tax structure of a lot of these red states are the reason why they're hesitant to try to another independence movement.

Yes, the wealthier states that are almost all Democratic have to spend money on the poorer states which are all Republican & Southern. It's time the Southern states take care of themselves and quit mooching off the rest of the nation!

Guess we could always disband the federal government. That would take care of the problem. (I don't support that, by the way.)

I would support that initiative. start over again with politicians that actually support and defend the Constitution as written.

get rid of 99.9% of all federal employees at the same time.

I actually saw Grandpa Lautenberg on TV lamely explaining that "NJ is a wealthy state......" when he was asked by an opposing candidate why we get perenially get the hind teat when it comes to the Federal dollars.

Thanks for looking out for SC and WV, Frank.

Don't blame. I didn't vote for him. I voted for the guy that asked the question.
