Dem: Senate has 'gun to our head' on health - The Hill's Blog Briefing Room

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) issued a blunt, angry statement on Wednesday, accusing the Senate of conducting negotiations with the House while holding "a gun to our head."

The thug mentality of the Obama world is coming out people.

Even the dems are starting to see what he is all about and they do not like it.

LOL Democratic infighting, yet they will still somehow manage to blame the republicans.

And to think, they have majorities in the House AND Senate.... but not for long

The "Obama" world? Did you even try to comprehend who Congressman Weiner is angry at?

THE SENATE

What does the Senate have to do with "Obama's world"?

You do realize, do you not, that the Legislative and the Executive are two distinctly separate branches of our 3-prong government system?

Tell the moron in the WH that.

He is trying to force them to do what he wants, not what the huge majority of Americans want.

Obama is pulling the thug crap on his own party members to get this passed even knowing we the people do NOT want it to pass.

Talk to Obama, he is the one changing the way things are suppose to work.

Obamas World is easy, he wants to control all aspect of how things work, including the congress.

DEMS ARE SCRATCHING EACH OTHERS EYES OUT AND YOU CANNOT SEE THAT?

Which Senate seats are going to go to Republicans in order to give them the majority that you're predicting?

To the best of my knowledge, there are no morons in the white house, least of all the Harvard Law graduate President.

The majority of Americans want healthcare reform and we told President Obama and the Congress that when we went to the polls and put them in control of both branches of government last November.

He campaigned on changing how things work in Washington, and a majority of us wanted that enough to vote him in as President so he could do exactly that.

No they're not. But your hysteria is rather amusing, nonetheless.

My bad. I should have said that their "power of 60" is at stake. Although, if things keep tanking the way they have been for the democratic party, repubs just might take the majority. All we need is 41 though to stop this runaway train.

To those that believe the Democrats will not put together what remains of the reform efforts, into a bill, that will be passed and signed into law, you are delusional. I suspect the will all be done in time for the State of the Union Address. I think it a very slim chance that will not be the case. Get over it!

What AMERICAN wants..

LOL.

the HUGE MAJORITY OF americans have no flipping clue WHAT THE HELL THEY WANT.

BTW.. a HUGE majority of the AMerican public WANTED a PUBLIC OPTION>. which is IN THE HOUSE BILL that the dumb ass SENATE removed.

The public is SO DAMNED CONFUSED, Mis informed and just plain IGNORANT..

Want to know why?

Because hte helath insurance industry AND THE GOP has done EVERYTHING they could to UNDERMINE at EVERY step public opinion of ANY health care reform that comes out of ANY HOUSE! THAt and they listen to a mindless twit like Palin and and overbloated moron.. like.. that the hell is his name again.. I"m so mad I can't even remember.. but lets just say .. they are all on FAUX news!

Then. .you have greedy dumb ass Senators and independents who hold health care hostage for their own personal pocketbooks and agendas.... GOP does NOTHING.. votes NO on ANYTHING..doesn't want anything.. the DEMS that actuall want REAL reform put forth bills that a few rogue *******s in the middle then rape and water down for their own benefit.

And the American public wonders why they have a bill that is WATERED down and deemed LESS affective

HELLOOOOO you were all given a VERY EFFECTIVE EXCELLENT BILL This past summer.. one that the GOP and the health insurance industry spent MILLIOns of dollars to turn public opinino against it.. MOSTLY WITH OUTRIGHT LIES.

So .. what did you expect to come out of Washington NOW with that kind of crap going on!

When we ELECTED OBAMA.. he laid out his plan ofr health care reform.. AND HE DELIVERED IT IN THE BILL THIS PAST SUMMER.. until the LIES of Death panels and all that crap came out of it.

God.. so infuriating.. what the hell do you people want. REFORM or NOT!!!! You don't even KNOW what you want.

This bill now "oh, it's too much on the side of insurance.. a big koo for insurance"..

Yeah.. well you didn't want insuranc done away with either (oooooh.. the EVILS of socialized medicine)

Uggh.. so freaking frustrating.
