Mindless sheep
This latest episode confirms that somebody posted some news that was not true, and that some posters in here believed this news like it had been carved on stone.

Also, it was an American black reporter from a CA newspaper who a year or two ago published an article about Obama being "the magic negro," not Rush. You may also want to check with Senator Reid about his choice of words a couple of years ago relating to President Obama

Did Rush have a sex change too? That ought to go over well with the base.

Some hormones, a little surgery and one letter change in the name and Rush can become Ruth!

No one said Rush published anything, the charge was that he called Obama a "Negro", which he did. Chris Rock uses the n word all the time, and comedian Kat Williams called Obama the n word. Why don't you call Obama the n word in public and say that others have used the word, so it's ok, lets see if it flies. So Reid using a racist phrase cancells Rush Limbaugh's statement? WTF. One has nothing to do with the other.

Well, according to him if you give them one red cent of money from the government it's socialism.

Better they die of starvation, disease, and exposure then have money from another persons pocket.

It's the only compassion he knows, and why everyone in the world loves him.

Of Course, I Never Told Anyone Not to Donate to a Charitable Cause

I guess people do not know how to go to Rush's web site to read what he REALLY said about it.

Schtick: A characteristic, attribute, talent, or trait that

No - nothing sacred
Yes - act like a teenager
Never - remain silent
Not in his vocabulary - respect
That's Limbaugh

He's the same as he was on the radio in the 1980's, except now folks either take him seriously or actually
write about it as "news".
Rush Limbaugh is a pig

Why would anyone actually want to go to his website? I can't stand to see his name for crying out loud.

Regardless. With him in particular, what you're suggesting is akin to someone saying one thing and then later saying, "Well,, I was just kidding" when they get called out.

It's all in the agenda. And if one thing is clear, Rush is always working his agenda.

News, Rush Limbaugh: Don't Donate to Haiti Victims.
I do not really know the specifics and I have not read all of the posts in this thread.... but I would bet a large sum that either...
a) He did not actually say this
or
b) If he did, the OP is bringing it up out of context.

Yes because Rush would never EVER say such a thing in context now would he?

I am not a Rush fan, but after reading the transcripts. I do not get where he said not to donate.

RUSH: I'm gonna respond to this absolute BS that I said don't donate. But, you know, I do not make this program about me. I try very hard not to make this program about me. So if I have time to deal with that, I will. I'm confident everybody in this audience knows what I said and what I didn't say. Even the Washington Post says without the context, "What Limbaugh said is horrible." All I said was, if you paid your income taxes, that's how you donate to government for aid, and sure enough, here comes Obama announcing $100 million from the government for aid to Haiti, fine and dandy. But, you paid for it, it's your taxes. All I said was if you're going to donate do it outside the government, pure and simple. I was attacked, folks, because I am the leading voice of mainstream conservative views, not for any other reason. And this outrage is totally feigned, just as Tony Blankley said, all this outrage at me is totally faked up. They know exactly what I said, and they know for a fact that I would never tell people not to donate to any charitable cause like this, so it is what it is.
