Are you forgetting who has run congress for the last 3 years.

Yup, it's Harriet and Botox lady.

They are to blame for this mess. Add in the dem-comi leader Obamie to the mix and you have what you have today, a mess.

Why has Obama been a total failure with money?

Why has he set record for spending and debt and we get zero results?

Yep, because it didn't happen in Germany during the 20's and early 30's either. But, they were third world dirtbags and uneducated, right?

Oh yes, this rather heavier than normal recession (I've lived through a few recessions) is exactly the same as Germany before WWII (sarcasm). You do realize that Germany before WWII was not simply in a bad recession (go read up on the punitive economic sanctions against Germany after WWI and get back to me on your theory that the US is just like Germany before WWII and ripe for a nationalist, racist dictator to take power), do you not?

Record home foreclosures and unemployment that isn't dipping below 10%. If this goes on for a few more months, you'll see what little speculative recovery we've had end in a hurry.

Oh, so the mess wasn't caused by stupid tax cuts for the rich, stupid choices to launch unwise and unnecessary wars, and stupid failure to perform due diligence in oversight of financial markets? Instead, it was caused by a long-overdue increase in the minimum wage, restoration of veterans benefits, and getting CAFE standards increased. That's a really interesting theory. It doesn't make any sense at all, but it's still interesting...

GEEZ! Will you NeoConfuseds make up your minds? Some are claiming Obama is a "Marxist-Facist" while others tell us that's what's coming. Perhaps if you'd open your eyes you'd notice the sky is still managing to maintain its position, despite the flood of crocodile tears from the right.

You haven't lived through a recession like this yet. Even the 70's were rosier times than this. The pent up money supply is ready to flood the system. Once the Fed sells off its junk and/or banks start really lending again, you'll see what happens.

Fascism (squiggly equal sign, isn't on keyboard ) Communism. Both are heavily planned economies operating under totalitarian governments. The tiny minds claiming there's a difference are simply arguing about a distinction without a difference.

Capitalism has the nasty habit of allowing the speculators, greedsters and monopolists destroy the market the capitalist system is dependant upon ever couple of decades. Recent conditions are the result of the capitalists polluting their own market with worthless fraudulent junk. Obama is not killing capitalism; the fraudulent speculating capitalists are killing capitalism.
