5 days after Haiti was hit by an earthquake.. US has several hundred soldiers on land to assist.

Hurricane Katrina hits LA on August 29th, and 5 days later there were 54,000 military personnel in the area helping.

Obama pledges $100,000,000 to Haiti while Bush sends $10,500,000,000 to LA

Where is all the liberal outrage for the lack of support? Does Obama care less than Bush did for "black people" Yeah, obserd, but that didnt stop you liberals from making similar statements towards Bush.. WHY?

Is Haiti a part of the US? Are we responsible for its defense? Did they ask us to help militarily?

One teeny tiny difference you seem to conveniently overlook...

Last time I looked, Louisiana was part of The United States...

Haiti is a foreign nation...

Anyone who thinks we can (or even should) mobilize to provide aid to a foreign nation as fast or with the same level of spending as for domestic disasters is really foolish...

Just sounds like brain-dead unconditional Obama-bashing to me...

Obama-trons will play both sides. If the rescue wasn't fast enough because of the opposition blocking aid somehow, they have someone to blame. If rescue wasn't fast enough because of whom they support, you can always just deflect by saying that Haiti is not the US. You CAN have your cake and eat it too, in their tiny little minds.

Plus, perhaps you missed the memo that airports were shut down in Haiti so planes could not even get in....

Is that the best response you could come up with?

Since when have we ever needed to be ASKED for assistance before we take action? Do you forget that the US provided assistance to hurricane victims in Haiti in 2004, also during President Bushs term?

Just what I thought.. excuses.. excuses...

Ever hear of a helicopter? Hait is only 600 miles from Miami.. They easily could send in helicopter support and drop supplies like we have done in other areas..

The rescue in Louisiana was an embarrassment. Our own country wracked by a natural disaster and the executive government (Bush, Cheney, Rice., etc) were not even in Washington. I believe Bush was in California, Cheney was out west and may have been in Wyoming, and Rice was rumored to be shoe shopping in NYC.

Your thread post is entirely ridiculous - and people see it as such...

You're really dredging the bottom of the barrel on this one...

Are you that much of a blind, party ideologue that you even THINK of such things to post???

Amazing!!!
