That's correct, it's called reconciliation by house & senate, which the dems should have done to begin with, and politely excluded repugs from any input or debate. They don't even need a "super majority"!

Default Mass voters have seen the light

Massachusetts had health care reform forced on them and they have first hand experienced it and will show their support to kill national health care reform by voting for Brown.

Tell me what this HC "reform" does for the averege person already paying into the system that has seen their bills skyrocket over the last 2 decades? What does it do for them? I'm speaking of the ones that are actually supporting the system and keeping it afloat, the ones that are slowly dwindling as costs continue to rise.

Right now, anyone with any true thinking ability has to realize the democrats are in trouble, at least now. 2 years from now anything could chage. But the name calling isn't going to help anyone.

Nita

That's all he and a lot of others have, is name calling. They see their house of cards falling and point fingers, not even taking into consideration that it's their failed policies (or soon to be failed policies) that are taking them down. Even if Coakley wins by a small margin, this is a message to the administration and other Democrats that America is seeing through the garbage that they are heaping on the American people, Democrats, Independents, and Liberals alike.

People don't ALREADY PAY INTO THE SYSTEM.
This is NOT a HC thread, but it was stipulated that dems are trying to help Americans, while repugs are out for themselves and big biz.
BTW, before repugs were against HC, they were FOR it.

Well on one hand we hear from the white house and our elected officials how important that it is that we focus on the needs of haiti. Haiti is the priority.
Yet Bill Clinton and Obama found the time to take a break from the relief efforts to go stumping.
Now I ask what is the real priority? Politics as usual.

Perhaps you don't understand how this works so I'll explain it. There are people that pay insurance companies to support the system <gasp, this may be hard to grasp for some liberals>, They get sick and the insurance company pays their bill. These are the people that support the system. Without them it collapses. These people are facing ever increasing rates.

Now according to the CBO these people can expect nothing from this bill based on what their projected costs will be. If the projection is for them to pay $1000 per month 5 years from now under current law they will be paying $1000 per month under the healthcare "reform". The HHS analysis is little bit more dire and suggests they will see an increase and also suggests the medicare cuts are not sustainable.

You're suggesting the DEMS are working for the people so I'm going to ask again at what point does this HC bill help the people that are actually supporting the system that make up the vast majority?
