the dems will now have to either continue to try to go with their extreme left wing agenda which if they do, they will go down in flames, or conme up with a centrist agenda that might really slow spending and create real jobs.
Are you kidding the republicans have no intention of getting any kind of reform none zero. They will take little scott into the locker room as soon as he gets there and tell him you shut up unless your bashing Obama. The plan is get us back in 2010 and 2012 got it. He will say "what about our HC plan' and they will point a stiff finger and say Obama a socialist repeat it with me scott. Now go on back to mass. and talk up palin

The republican have said all along they want Tort reform and the ability to buy insurance across state lines. the Dem's who are tied to the trial lawyers have blocked tort reform and never considered the reducing regulations to buy health insurance across state lines.
yet we can buy car insurance across state lines. Two simple things the Dem's will have to consider

Funny isn't it...well not really. Republicans get elected in 2000 and the conservatives go crazy. Yeaaah! No more outrageous spending. Well that was a bust. The Democrats get elected in 2008. Democrats go Yeahhh! We are going to get out of Afghanistan and Iraq. Has not happened yet.
I agree with the post above this partisan BS of us vs. them and my side won crap does nothing but give both parties control. We need to get rid of the two party system and find people who will really represent us.

That should take care of National Socialist Medicine, and hopefully Cap & Tax.

Thank God.

Now, will Obama, Reid, and Pelosi keep hammering away, trying to pass uber-National-Socialist legislation, and so trash the Democrat party for the next election? If they do, might Republicans gain majorities in the House and Senate in November.

Republicans had better get their acts together FAST, and present a good national platform of reducing SPENDING, reducing taxes, and reducing regulation. That first one is quite different from what they did in the 2000's, though they're good for the other two.

If they don't get their acts together, then there won't be much point in being a member of the Republican party.

Ball's in your court, Republicans.
The Republicans will fail, big time. They only answer to their corporate overlords.

The majority of Americans do not agree with the health care bill.
Poll: Only 38 percent support health care bill - Glenn Thrush - POLITICO.com
It would seem that Americans have noticed that it is business as usual only now the excuses are more obvious and equally lame.
It never was "Bush's fault", it was corruption. National politics are so incredibly corrupt. National politicians don't serve the people, they serve corporations. They only give the people lip service, throwing us a bone once in a while, just often enough to keep us from revolting.

The Democrats still control 58 seats of 100 in the Senate and 257 of 435 House seats.

It was NEVER Bush's fault? Eight years of stagnation and corporate welfare wasn't Bush's fault? Eight years of a GWB deficit from a profiteer's war and unregulated raiding of the cookie jar by the financial industry wasn't Bush's fault? Yet it IS President Obama's fault?

Some of my fellow American's thought processes have fallen through the looking glass because that's just plain backwards.

Actually, it's the Democrats that pay homage to the big business interests. I suggest that you pay attention to whom big government bailed out. Who gets the big contracts, etc. Big Pharma and big insurance are getting bailed out by the Democrat's Healthcare bill. Big Unions, big, big and big.

The Republicans do support the greatest employer of American's. Odd are you work for one of them, a small business. Then the Democrats and big media sell you and poor people on how they are the friend of the little person. Which in fact, if I might suggest, you should look and see how much better off poor people of this nation are than they were 20 years ago.

No, my friend, the GOP doesn't bow down to big banks, big corps, or big unions, the GOP truly supports the commoner in the middle class.

That is eactly waht democrats said about medicare prescritption dugs they failed to pass year after year whiole promising it in evry platform. Then Bush di it despite the left wings of the democratic party trying to block it;most notably Teddy kennedy. What people wil say is that the left wing of the democatis party tried to push their vision down americans throats ;ignoring what the voters were saying and failed once agian to accomplish anyhting.
