I had no preference in this contest but I definitely rooted for Sylvester against that annoying Tweety! And Wile E. Coyote over Roadrunner!
I have been looking for the ACME corporation for a long time. The way Wilie used their stuff I figure it would have been a good investment. Anybody know their stock symbol? Did they get bought out by some parent?
Tweety wasn't a very good role model for kids learning English. Was Tweety a boy or girl? I say girl.
At first, when i was young, I would root for Jerry, given the species roles we are taught as children, I always figured that Tom was blindly trying to kill Jerry, simply because cats catch mice. Later, as I watched as an adult, I realized that Jerry was a jerk and teased and picked on Tom. often and episode would start with Jerry trying to steal from Tom, or teasing him resulting in Tom trying to defend himself and his property by eliminating the pest.

Jerry was living in a hole in someone else's house for free, stealing food that didn't belong to him, and being a general nuisance to those around him. In other words, Jerry was an advocate for Soclialism and Welfare; therefore, I despised the little twerp. Just once I wish Tom would have 86ed that little turd.
