I am not surprised Obama lost track. He is new at this job and was surrounded by lobbyists, yes men and wannabes. I expect he will get on with the program and we will see the actions that will create mid-term losses for the Republicans.

Alot of things can happen in 10 months, no doubt about it, but to believe that Democrats can undo the damage they've done since 2006 in such a short period of time is quite naive if you ask me.
To be fair the president's actual quote was, "If there's one thing that I regret this year is that we were so busy just getting stuff done and dealing with the immediate crises that were in front of us that I think we lost some of that sense of speaking directly to the American people about what their core values are and why we have to make sure those institutions are matching up with those values,"
And, outside of spending money that we don't have, going on an apology tour and debasing his country, what exactly has Obama accomplished? True, he has attempted to take over private industry, destroy the intelligence community and give constitutional rights to terrorists, pass a health care bill that in its current form no one but his minions want (and failed at that, but what has he actually accomplished?
