Many of us did not believe the premise Obama stated when this first started. CRISIS.
85% of people with insurance, are happy. Since most people have insurance it is hard to get them to accept less.
Does the insurance industry need some changes, yep. But, an overhaul of the entire system is not the answer.
The original number of un-insured, 40 million, is not accurate. $4,500 people dying everyday due to lack of insurance, is not accurate.
Once you have been caught in a lie, it is hard for people to trust you. Obama and the dems have along way to go to get the American people to believe them again.
Perhaps if Obama and his administration would cease crying wolf (crisis) for everything policy that they try to enact people would once again take him seriously.
The Republicans need to take a little initiative and get involved, rather than "NO NO NO".
A little hard to do, specially when doors have been shut in there face, what are they suppose to do, break down the doors. I sure would not. So many backroom deals, closed door sessions, and secret meetings, hopefully After Bronw's Win it will now stop.
When the subject was first broached, it was stated as being essential to pass a bill as quickly as possible. No time to even read the bill.
Now Pelosi and crew are willing and even advocate "pause and reflect" on the bill.
Funny how that works when it can't be forced down the throats of the people any longer.
We just weren't hungry for crap like that.
