JoeP, many thanks for sharing the corporate affiliations of these media.

It is fascinating how we've consolidated news--like cereal and is it, cigarettes!

Moderator cut: personal - off topic

And I had no idea who brought up Media matters. There are so many left-wingers here it's hard to remember and frankly I don't care.

From where you are, so much seems to be to the left, eh. Rather astonishing when you stop and think about it. Meanwhile, the current front page at Media Matters is challenging stories as reported by the New York Times, the Washington Post, NBC, and the Associated Press.

Now, as I've been paying close attention to advice coming from the far right for lo these many years, I know full well that these are all prime examples of left-wing media bias. Why would a leftist-funded propaganda mill spend its precious resources debunking a bunch of left-wing propaganda? Should we expect the gang at townhall.com to start crying for Bush's impeachment as well?

Noted already on many occasions.

Not all of us are the disillusioned products of neocon mind control. MM critiques range across the political spectrum as was noted in the points that you ignored in the earlier post. Wrong is wrong. Incomplete is incomplete. Failure to stand up to scrutiny is failure to stand up to scrutiny. The fact that FOX, NewsMax, WorldNetDaily and the like so often come up for a skewering is far more indicative of how frequently these outlets engage in such "reporting" than it is of how biased MM actually is.

Media Matters is not a news site. it is a watchdog site of the media.

O'reilly has gone after them because they accurately have called him out. they got him. There's no ambiguity of his words and he hates that they have exposed him.

As mentioned they have called out many media sources though, including the Times, Post and all of the major networks at various times.

How dare they.

Here's a chart that may help. Note the notorious MOVEON. Also, mediamatters claims that they have never received funding from SOROS, but that's because it's passed from middle men like Democracy Alliance, etc.

What is the purpose of the chart? And why doesn't show the millions that Soros spends on supporting democracy against people like Putin...

It's certainly not because O'Reilly is trying to make Soros into some boogey man because o'Reilly is right wing... nah.

And as mentioned, no word from Billy on Scaife or the Arkansas Project, or the person that signs his paycheck.
