His policies have weakened us beyond belief.

We need to hold him accountable for any problems in the future because of his mistakes.

Did any of the above posters minus theolarge even read the article? It says the funding comes from the EU and doesn't mention Obama once. These people are so quick to rip Obama, it's disturbingly dangerous.

I begin a notion that posters who start threads purposely to mislead with titles and articles like this should receive warnings and if it persists, a ban.

It's Obama's administration, is it not?

Ultimately, the responsibility for oversight of the treasury department falls on both the president and Congress. Since the president appoints the position, oversight comes directly from the White House.

The secretary of the treasury is responsible for directing the actions of the department. This position is an executive office appointed by the president with approval from the Senate.

That would be one Timothy Geithner, appointed by Obama himself.

I think this quote from the article sums up the OP's position on how this weakens security...
