Although the same manufacturer of the Toyota debacle made some of Ford's pedals, there is no problems so far. Given that, Ford has halted production of commercial vans in China due to concerns about the pedals.

We bought a 2010 Flex with the EcoBoost engine last Nov. We LOVE IT!!!

There are a lot of us who will not buy a GM or Chrysler product because of all the government/union shenanigans. That might be some of the profit that Ford enjoyed,....refusal to buy from GM and Chrysler.
I LOVE the Flex. It's so retro,...like a Woody Wagon.....
It holds a lot, too. We took it on a 1,000 mile trip to the east coast to visit family over the holidays. The 4 of us, 2 large dogs, and all our gear fit, no problem. And the handling, gas mileage, and smooth ride was GREAT!
