Video sheds some light on the dishonest tactics utilized in an effort to make people believe that openly gay men are the most dangerous/responsible segment of child molesters. Actually, it's the complete opposite and the video explains the reasons. This is only one of the horrible tactics used by a large segment of the anti-gay crowd. It's a shame that they act in this manner.

Pedophiles are more likely to molest children. I've honestly never heard a link between homosexuality and pedophilia other than some pedophiles molest those of the same sex and some molest those of the opposite sex.

I thought it everyone with brain cells knew this but this forum has made me re-evaluate this so good thread.
I find it despicable that Gay men are often singled out as being more likely to be paedophiles when this is simply not true int he slightest. The very, very vast majority of paedophiles are actually heterosexuals.
It also makes me laugh ( in an "I have to laugh , otherwise I would weep" sort of way when people come out with "if we allow Gay people , what next, bestiality and necrophilia???" - what dark cave do those morons crawl out of from ????) .
I'm not gay, but I can't imagine how insulting it must be to be told that you're a potential child molester just because of your sexual orientation. Pedophilia is a whole different league altogether.
I don't believe there are many people in this world ro certainly in this country that think there is much correlation between homosexuals and pedoifiles. Articles like this need to be just thrown away or don't bother to even pay attention.

I disagree. Waaaay too many people hold the view that this thread seeks to debunk.
It's brought up multiple times on this forum (which, I know, isn't exactly always attract the cream of the intellectual crop), and is cited by "moral authorities" every day.
Some states even used to ban homosexuals from being teachers, and many people still get uneasy about letting their kids be with homosexuals. A gay friend of mine tried to do big brother/big sister. Though there is a shortage of male mentors for the program, no parent consented to allowing him to mentor their child. Granted, those parents are probably uneducated themselves (hence the need to have their child in the program), but it was a major slap in the face and made him feel like crap. He since joined another mentoring program, where he was matched.
There are a lot of fools believing their religious "authorites" that gay people assault children. I guess the preachers don't like the competition for the kids.
Some people link gay with everything bad from acne to atheism. You cannot cure self reinforcing ignorance.

Unfortunately I CAN imagine it. As a nearly 60 y/o female I have been told I'm a 'potential pedophile' because I enjoy reading the Harry Potter and Narnia books! Yikes!
Why are homosexuals always the escape goat. And i disagree with what is said, in no way do i believe that homosexuals molest more children, what does there sexual orientation have to do with this anyway. Pedophilla now we are talking.
