Should we remove the terms "Democrat" "Republican" "Independent" from the political arena and voting boxes... should we FORCE people to choose the better candidate based on their platform instead of their political affiliation? Some people blindly choose "Democrat" and "Republican" without even knowing who these candidates are... Is it time we remove the partisanship and have people actually be under "one" party, the "American" party... so that when people vote for someone, its because they actually think this person is going to improve our nation, not because of where they are on the political spectrum...

If you don't know who you're voting for before you see the ballot, you are not an informed voter. I don't think it matters.
