I noticed watching CNN last night that the satellite feed suddenly "went bad" when a 10 Year Army Veteran who served mostly in Iraq and Afghanistan was speaking in support of Ron Paul and against US Foreign policy and how it would not be a good idea to engage in more wars. I believe he also said something along the lines of "Israel is perfectly capable of defending itself". Suddenly the feed was cut-off and the Mitt Romney camp was shown, satellite in tact.
Am I thinking too much into this or was CNN trying to limit conversation on Israel and our foreign policy in the Middle East?
Yeah cause you know Israel is never a topic of conversation in the news.
Of course Israel is in the news, but it is always a one-sided conversation. There is this idea that America must support, control and fund Israel no matter what.
When Netanyahu says himself that he wishes the US would allow Israel to make decisions on their own and for America to back off, it is fine.
But when an American politician says it (Ron Paul), he is an anti-semite. When an experienced veteran says it, the feed is cut-off.

The Army guy was allowed to speak when Ron Paul was acknowledging the 3rd place finish and thanking all for their efforts. He had a lot more to say before his feed went south.
Some people are just plain paranoid, with a dash of conspiracy nut for flavor.
It may seem paranoid to you, but I have personally seen way too many "errors", "ommissions", mis-reporting, non-reporting and outright lies on Mainstream Media to be able to trust everything they say and do. You may feel differently.

Yeah, that was pretty cool. Ron Paul was very smart to do that. It definitely seemed unexpected for the Vet and a "spur of the moment" type decision.
I kept waiting for CNN to cut the feed off again but that would have been way too noticeable.

Right. 'Cuz on a night as crazy as last night was, with temporary locations set up all over the place, a technical problem is just impossible.
These things happen all the time. Why aren't you crying "conspiracy!" EVERY time it happens? Oh, that's right. It's because most of the time, you don't care about the subjects being discussed or the person being interviewed. The one time that you do, it CAN'T be a technical problem - IT'S A CONSPIRACY!!!
Give me a break.
