There has been an organized, advertised Prayer Breakfast, for religious and political leaders, held at the White House, for many years. Such was not the case this past year but, it is my understanding that the breakfast will return to the WH this year.

You object to this ?

IMO, there's no need to draw on religion in HOPE that things turn out well for the country. I rather use logic.
Prayer=false sense of security.
Well, regardless of your feelings, the real world prays.

And, there is a WELL PUBLICIZED Prayer Breakfast, hosted by the President of the United States, held annually - and has been held for many, many years.

I know this very very simple concept.

There is a huge difference in the words "of" and "from".

Freedom of religion vs. freedom from religion

Which one do you think is in the Constitution?

Scripturally, you probably don't realize how right you are.
We're told, in the Bible, to pray in private...to not draw attention to ourselves.
What is asked for in private will be given publicly.

It is not hosted by the POTUS.

The National Prayer Breakfast is a yearly event held in Washington, D.C., on the first Thursday of February each year. The founder of this event was Abraham Vereide.[1] The event—which is actually a series of meetings, luncheons, and dinners—has taken place since 1953 and has been held at least since the 1980s at the Washington Hilton on Connecticut Avenue N.W.

The breakfast, held in the Hilton’s International Ballroom, is attended by some 3,500 guests, including international invitees from over 100 countries. The National Prayer Breakfast is hosted by members of the United States Congress and is organized on their behalf by The Fellowship Foundation, a conservative Christian organization more widely known as "The Family." Initially called the Presidential Prayer Breakfast, the name was changed in 1970 to the National Prayer Breakfast.

Prior to Mrs. Dobson’s involvement, the Task Force was led by Mrs. Vonette Bright, wife of former Campus Crusade for Christ president and founder Bill Bright.

Is the Task Force affiliated with Focus on the Family?
No. Though Mrs. Dobson is married to Focus on the Family board chairman and founder Dr. James Dobson, the NDP Task Force is a separate organization. It is housed in the Focus on the Family headquarters for convenience, so long as Mrs. Dobson remains the Chairman. Its business affairs are separate and Focus on the Family is compensated for services rendered. However, between 1990 and 1993, Focus on the Family did provide grants [....]

The below is from the home page of the fellowship. Still care to argue it is not a christian dominated program?

[SIZE=2]The Fellowship is a coalition of Christian churches and ministries which recognize the need for networking, accountability, fellowship and resource facilitation. We are a trans-denominational fellowship that in voluntary cooperation is self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propagating. Our mission is to become a catalytic resource agent for the unity and support of churches and ministries who desire to celebrate and proclaim the radically inclusive love of Jesus Christ. Our key concern is that every member be provided with the necessary tools to mature the individual call and the vision of inclusivity as understood by each member. Through the unification of networking of our collective member resources The Fellowship can assist all of the churches and ministries in the fulfillment of their respective roles in the Body of Christ.

Here is an article showing they claim tax exempt status while clearly being involved with government. That in and of itself means that tax payers are paying for it because they are NOT PAYING TAXES
