A guest list that has no authentication? I can type up a thing that would make it look like Bush attended a cross burning. I'm not saying this isn't true but I'd like some real evidence.

“In the upcoming elections, voters will face a choice between Republicans who are standing with Wall Street fat cats, bankers and insurance companies -- or Democrats who are working hard to clean up the mess we inherited by putting the people’s interests ahead of the special interests," Menendez said in a press release last Wednesday.

CORRECTED:
“In the upcoming elections, voters will face a choice between Republicans who are criminals standing with Wall Street fat cats, bankers and insurance companies -- or Democrats who are criminals standing with Wall Street fat cats, bankers and insurance companies," Menendez said in a press release last Wednesday.

A newspaper report of the meeting is not good enough for you?

Do you think the democrats will be announcing this "retreat"?

Besides, we all know what your answer will be - no big deal.

If I'm not mistaken, many of the Republicans on here are quick to dispute newspaper reports.

If they announce this retreat and we happen to see more tobacco and bank-favorable legislation passed, I'll believe it. Like I said, I'm not doubting if it's true or not. I'd just like some proof.

Personally, I think Bush made them do it.

I'll bring up your snide comments regarding the frequency of Bush blaming if you ever make like any of some of the Republicans here and blame Clinton for the Iraq invasion. Capisce?

Blaming Clinton for the Iraq invasion is Bush's fault too.
