Don't add pork and bad policy to the bills, and you will see Conservative support.

Standing alone, the Conservatives think it is a good idea. Add the crap, and it becomes contaminated.

If that is how you took it, your shortsightedness has caused you to miss the big picture.

Any and all Pork or bad policy, no matter who brings it or who votes for it, is not Kosher.

I guess you are right. I hadn't realized that our Republican Representatives had, all of a sudden, lost their taste for Pork. I just think it is disingenuous to disparage current efforts under the guise of their "porkiness". Certainly, reducing pork from any side is preferential, I am, however, not naive enough to think it will disappear.

It's lunacy, yet, that's basically what Republicans are demanding....

Case and point right here.

Republicans don't want to be thrown a bone or two. They want the ENTIRE STEAK and leave the Democrats with nothing.

Sorry, the system doesn't work like that.
Well, you have to remember, the GOP was used to steak for the better part of 8 years ... it's hard to give up addictions like that.

No, they would take it, spend it, then bytch about it after the money is gone. Example: earmarks in stimulas, begging for money (Alaska, Louisana)

Obama has done nothing so far and don't see anything in the near future either.

Soon enough Obama is going to say ********* to any opposition and just do what he wants.

If they don't want to agree with ANYTHING he has to say then he will eventually ignore them entirely. I guess that's what people get when they can't get along.

How credible can the link be if it claims Republicans have principles?
