I really wish I could provide that info about Sterns.... but damn it, all the health care meeting were closed door and secret, and no C-SPAN cameras either. So I can pretty much claim he did.
As to Jones, all he did was lobby for green jobs, that was his job, and its why 0bama hired him.
A lobbyist presses for breaks for his employer. An advisor is an expert in some field who recommends courses of action. Van Jones was an advisor, not a lobbyist.
And you're just wishing that Andy Stern helped write the health care bill.
0bama, and his 0-bots simply do not get it, when he makes pledges and even signs an executive order which says lobbyists "will not work in my White House,"and he is going back on that pledge and executive order by hiring 40 of them. there is no nuance to it.
Not much backup here. Please cite the actual language of the executive order. Please name, oh, five people whose hiring you think violated that language.

Well, one of the things one could say is that the guy who lies is you. What Obama actually said at the VFW Convention last August was, "if Congress sends me a defense bill loaded with a bunch of pork, I will veto it." The final bill contained 0.4% worth of earmarks. Loaded, that is not. The #1 earmarker? Sen. Thad Cochran (R-MS) at $212 million.
Nothing the man says matters to you, we get it. In January '09 he did say: "We will ban all earmarks" and yet he signed thousands of earmarks into law. What part of that is spin?
Unless you have a verifiable source for this, I will consider it another indication of your willingness to lie.

And yet the Apollo Aliance took part in crafting and promoting the stimulus bill, and Van jones who worked at the Apollo Alliance and other environmental agencies was assigned as Special Advisor for Green Jobs, by 0bama.
Lobbyists have to register in order to have the credentials to lobby. Was Van Jones a registered lobbyist during the two years prior to his appointment? If so, for whom?
