And what awful thing has President Obama said about Law Vegas?
"You don't blow a bunch of cash in Vegas when you're trying to save for college."
Oh, yeah - that's just terrible. The nerve of the guy, trying to get people to act responsibly.

Grow up, people. The President didn't say that you shouldn't go to Vegas, or spend money in Vegas, or have a good time in Vegas. But if you're trying to save for college, don't go to Vegas and blow a lot of money.

It's just common sense, an increasingly difficult concept for some to understand.

Maybe Las Vegas needs to lay off building their economy around relieving the suckers of all the cash they have.

I go for the food. they are incredible. free exhibits and great shopping. been tot he pawn store featured on TV. greatest people watching place in the world, Rent a cabana by a pool and i can be a leering (very harmless) old man all day while i drink rum drinks and snack.

This may be good financing for the city and the mob but it is reprehensible and unrespectable.

Las Vegas families are suffering from a failed entertainment economy and a disasterous housing bubble.

Your information is a little outdated. The mob was mostly run out of Vegas years ago. The top operators there now are Mormons.

Do you have a job?
What if Obama dissed your industry and as a result you ended up laid off or had your wages reduced?
He could have made his point without attacking, but then that does seem to be his m.o. doesn't it?
Obama is the one that needs to "grow up"

Isn't Oscar Goodman the guy who got all those degenerates like Anthony Spilatro off the hook? If he were a friend of Obama's, we'd never hear the end of it about how Obama's a made man from the RW.

Has what to do with it?
It isn't just Goldman speaking out against Obamas reckless comments.

This latest comment was hardly a bashing of Vegas, and only someone like Reid would get bent about it. LMAO, if you want to hear some Vegas bashing most any place in Northern NV will be happy to accomodate your wish. However, the picture of Vegas as a den of LCN operations and such is a bit dated, and, I am happy to add, that Vegas and Clark county and we in the north are moving much closer together in how we feel about Harry Reid and his ilk. A re-unified NV is Reid's worst nightmare, and it is finally happening.

Good news.
The rest of America would be greatly appreciative if you would show Reid the door next election.
