I don't agree completely with your statement.
The "republicans" as a group think people should act morally. If one of the "flock" does not, that person is expected to "through themselves on the shield". The hypocrate is exposed and dealt with.

Many dems on the other hand seem to applaude "immoral" behavior, because they do not believe in God or heaven. There is no consequence for doing "immoral" things.

Leftist ideologues are gods unto themselves. There is no room for another god. The god of humanism, actually has been around for centuries. And have been foisting their narcissism onto the young and gullible for decades in this country in the government run schools.

Wow, just wow.
I guess you believe in capital punishment, war, etc.
What an ill-informed post.

Right. Because of the hijacking of the Republican party over the past 2 decades, today's political ideologies have basically become fundamentalist (Republican) vs. mainline religious and non-religious (Democrat).

First of all, spellcheck is your friend, use it. Also, in case you were unaware, many Dems are "religious", and trust me, I wish more weren't. Your statement is completely wrong, and I do mean completely. There is nothing there beyond total right wing, wacko, mindless chatter. Try to get out more.

cmon friend. the "family values" guys are mostly the ones caught tapping their toes in the mens bathroom or getting caught with male or female hookers. It's in their genes. It's that awful repression they deal with.

Because the church has always stood in the way of progress. They couldn't handle hearing that the earth wasn't flat, or that the sun didn't orbit it, and so on, so they banished or killed people who proved that these things were false. Also, the whole crusades, burning of suspected "witches," and so on. I have no problem with God, although I am in between an agnostic and deist. I have a huge problem with organized religion.

Oh, and BTW, I am neither a Democrat or a Republican. I am left-leaning,but distrust the state, organized religion and huge corporations. All have their place, but all abuse their powers.
