If you start the statistic at age 13, it's possible. The average age to start having sex is, I believe, around 17. So you have 4 years where the vast majority do not have sex.

It is good to see that some young ladies still value their virginity and wait until marriage.

No. The risk to her is high, but unsure; she could deliver the fetus and they could end up both living; but the chance of the fetus dying in the abortion is practically 100%.

In addition, situations like this are exceedingly rare. The general rule is that women who obtain abortions use it a form of birth control, either primary or back-up; I don't see why certain fringe exception like this should make all abortions legal. Even if she did the right thing by aborting in this case, in a just nation it would be an exception to the anti-abortion law.

This child HAS BEEN BORN. It is sick, sick, sick to debate whether or not to kill the child.

"I've noticed that everybody that is for abortion has already been born." ~Ronald Reagan, quoted in New York Times, 22 September 1980

Exactly. It makes me soooo sick when people expect women to be conservative and keep their virginity but say NOTHING about the boys doing it.

I love it when boys from my culture (and not from my culture) want a nice, obeying, VIRGIN girl but go and "**** *******" (In THEIR words) every week. Didn't they want to save it for the girl?

Nope. Women always get it the worst.

So you're trying to enforce your morality on others.
You believe women should be punished for having consensual sex.

It's a double standard, if it's killing (as you say it is), it is killing no matter how the female got pregnant.

So you're only against abortion when you want to punish and blame.
It has nothing to do with the fetus.

Nita
As long as the mom and boyfriend are doing their "soul searching" from behind bars and these children (daughter and the baby boy) are in a safe home with people who can get that poor child the help she desperately needs and find the baby boy a home where he will never be reminded of the circumstances which surrounded him when he was brought into this world.
