Since most young people today consider the ethnophobic, homophobic, and socially unaware mentality of today's conservatives "uncool" will that political philosophy be tossed onto the ash heap of American history?
Their whole ideology has proven ineffective time and time again. They have shown that they have no answers to the nation's problems, problems that they continually perpetuate and contribute to. They are divisive and supported by the most racist people in this country. On and on...they have no place in modern times.
Are you aware that the latest polls show conservatives make up over 40% of the electorate? Moderates are close behind, around 38% and liberals? They are bringing up the rear (an appropriate position) at approx 22%.
Do you also realize that the elections in VA, NJ and Mass were won by republicans?

Obama will end liberalism in America. There is just no place for radical socialistic people in America.
Those kids who are liberal today will mature into conservative later as their hateful anti American parents can longer control their thinking for them.
I can see conservatism taking back the WH and congress soon and they will hold those places for many years to come.
If the conservatives act like conservatives and do not swing to the left to far they will have total control of America and fix the mistakes of the past.

Socially unaware? I don't think so. I'd say the majority are becoming socially nauseated by the socialist/communist left which Obama represents. And those days are numbered.
As for the young people, and what the liberal movement has produced ... I live in a liberal college town and the only thing that seems to be of any import to a large subset of them is where the next beer pong tournament is going to take place. The boys (not even close to being men) are riding skateboards till they're 23, and spend more time doing their hair than the girls do. The girls behave more like boys, with the wardrobe and morality of street hooker, moving from one effeminate male to another, only to conclude that they can receive more pleasure from their girlfriends, without the headache. Progressivism indeed. A literal and liberal race to the bottom.
Those young people who are conscious thinking beings who haven't fallen into this cesspool of lies and double speak offered up by politicians on both sides, show a strong leaning toward real conservative values ... sick of big government, financial stagnation and banker bailouts ... wondering why they have to take on 20 years of tuition debt just to get a job anywhere other than McDonalds ... and watching most of the employment promises still being peddled, evaporate into the ether after they're on the hook for 80K for 4 years at the University of Nowhere.
They see endless war, no career future, and for the first time in our history, an entire generation staring into the face of abject poverty ... and they are realizing that both political parties are to blame.
In the lead up to the past election, the "Ron Paul Revolution" was anchored by a grassroots, young crowd, and that will only get stronger and be the future trend as the economy continues to unravel. They aren't stuck in mom and dad's eternal political dogma of left versus right because they see the false nature of it with their own eyes. They no longer read the newspaper or watch TV entertainment news, allowing this propaganda to tell them what to think ... they get their info from more independent, non-establishment sources. And they're pissed off, as well they should be.
They're pissed that the lying crooks in both parties are stealing their futures ... pissed that in spite of being over qualified academically, they're being passed over for menial jobs because they aren't bilingual. They see the farce of this bill of goods they've been sold, and they now understand what George Carlin meant when he said "They call it the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it". They're waking up.
All but the really dense lefties out there are waking up to the reality that their savior in chief is nothing more than another in a long line of flimflam men who can't elucidate a coherent thought without a teleprompter. He blew a ton of smoke up their backsides, and now want to tax them to death ... continue the wars ... add a couple more ... and hand the gangster bankers a big hose to siphon off the last remains of our morally and financially bankrupt country.
They knew George Bush was a disaster, a liar, and a traitor, and now they see that Obama is no different. But they're going to be even more pissed at Obama ... why? Because many of them really did trust him, while they never trusted or voted for Bush.
They see the whole establishment for what it really is ... one big fat broken promise. And unlike a lot of older folks still stuck in their illusionary left-right world, they realize that both parties have worked hand in hand to destroy their futures .... and they ain't happy about it.
Have you seen videos of the teabagger rallies? Those folks look like they've got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.

Conservatives will grow as the liberals cause more decay and disease. More and more people are becoming aware of the danger they pose to society and our children. The TEA <---TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY rallies are just getting started. It's time for the "it's all about me" generation to move over at let the adults at the wheel.
Looks to me like there are twice as many conservatives as liberals. And that number seems to be rising. I would be willing to bet that it could go as high as 45% between now and 2012. From what I see from the Massachusetts senate race, I think the Democrats are destined for a world of hurt in the next several elections.
Well that can be easily explained why there are more conservatives... not everyone can be in the gifted program Liberals generally have less children as we're more educated and spend more time in school. Conservatives pop out 4-5 kids as women are viewed as baby machines and maids and then teach their children regressive views and opinions and foster closed mindedness. I thought everyone knew this?

Do you suppose they will be replaced by the phobias that result in the murder of innocent bystanders in the name of Islam?
How about the phobias that require mass graves to be dug to bury the machete hacked bodies of women and children?
A hint of ethno, homo phobias and a socio unaware mentality seem quite preferable to phobias proliferating in other nations who defer the honor of writing their history to the ultraphobes. Their history is written in blood in the festering pool of fetid human misery.

As for the ash dump of American history, those are the ashes of the selfless American citizens who gave their lives on foreign soil in conflicts with nationalistic, ethno and homophobic madmen.
Too bad only Russia and China are willing to step up to take over the position of world's policemen for a herd of nationalistic, disneyesque countries who rather capitulate than fight..... Might ask the same original question about China and Russia if you dare.
