I sit down and torture my banjo for an hour or so.

It's hard to be uptight or unhappy while playing a banjo.

If the stress is really bad, I write a song.

I don't really get stressed too often, but I guess I like to read alot. I travel alot and am an avid rock/ mountain climber and hiker and this is extremely relaxing (in a physically draining sort of way) as far as the feeling it gives me due to the natural beauty and accomplishment it involves

I know this sounds crazy. Not cleaning, cause i do that 3 times a day anyways, yes i am a clean freak. But cooking, i love to cook and try out different recipes, or bake something entirely new. The extreme to cooking, is i exercise to music like a nut. Sounds crazy but when stressed, i cook even better then i normally do, and i am a very good cook.

Cooking is good, too.

Especially Indian recipes with a gazillion spices.

After a stressful day when I come home I need a good hour alone to decompress.

Watch a favorite show or movie, talk it out with someone (usually my poor hubby!), read a book.

Bake, bake and bake some more! Anything chocolate- chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cakes, pies, etc. If I make too much, I just send it to work with my husband to help him and his co-workers with their stress
Chocolate is a natural feel good food.

What i enjoy doing better then the cooking, is a nice Champagne bubble bath, and my favorite bottle of white wine, low music, and i'm loving it.

Thanks, i make up many new receipes. And they come out good. I mixed cream cheese whipped with fresh crab meat, mixed the two up, then put shredded cheddar in and mixed up, put them in the pillsbury crescent rolls, rolled them up. On the outside of the crescent roll, i put a little bit of heated butter on the top, then pressed shredded cheddar into the top, and baked them, oh my gosh they were so good. I have so many receipes my friends want me to write a cook book. When stressed and cooking, i will try things i would not ordinarily do.
