It was once said that, "the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

My question: Has anyone ever applied this to politics?

For example:

Detroit voting Democratic every year and continuing to deteriorate every year...

Any thoughts? Why don't people try something DIFFERENT in situations like that, for crying out loud?!

I thought it was the definition of stupidity. Insanity is thinking that they can get away with anything, and no one will stop them. My opinion, anyway.

For about the 100th time, Detroit was a cesspool well before parties became what they currently are and its problems have nothing to do with partisan politics.
