What if the genetic test on gay people proves to be true. I think it is. And you were pregnant with an unborn whose gene tests showed the unborn would be gay.
We know its legal to abort the child but is it right for the woman to use the fact it will be gay a reason to abort ?

A thread begging for...a poll...

If u include one,I guess the YEAHs & NAYs will be 50-50...

Half the parents would abort, the other half, mostly Christians would say that "God sent it ",so they cannot abort it...

Personally,I...don't know...

If they were that far advanced as to be able to identify the "gay gene" then I would opt for gene therapy for the little bundle of cells.

That is a disgusting concept to even attempt to fathom. It's like creating designer babies. Don't like the hair color? Abort. Don't like the gender? Abort.

I'm not planning on any more kids, but had I found out one of them were gay in-utero there is no way I would abort. In fact, I would be happy to get the heads-up early on to give them the additional support that they may need.

Would there be a reason that would make you abort?

Nope, I would have no problem with having a gay child.

If someone was crazy enough to consider abortion specifically because their child would be gay, I would see them as unfit to raise said child anyway, and would hope they would abort or adopt out rather than ruin the child's life.

I'm gay. I support 1st trimester abortions. If the parent wants to get a child aborted because it will be gay that is their choice. Their right to privacy is protected under the 9th Amendment. (though if I were a straight parent, no I would not get it aborted)

So while you would not abort a child you support those who wish to because they child is gay
