My point is that 4,500 black men are in prison for every 100,000 while 700 white men.My point is 37,000 white women are raped by black men every year.These are numbers on the department of justice website.The murder numbers and assaults are just as high.Al sharpton and other black leaders should focus on these numbers.And a light skinned black girl was severly beaten for looking and acting white.That is my point
If you wanted to post USDOJ stats, why not start the thread with them? This story has nothing to do with that. White women are also raped by white men and black women are raped by black men but I suppose black victims are irrelevant to you. Most violent crimes committed by blacks are committed against blacks so you can stop acting like White women are damsels in distress and black people are out to kill whites.
The black girl was beaten because they were jealous of her, as another poster stated, you are trying to over simplify the issue. The girl went to the police and security and did not get the help that she needed. That is the issue here. Clearly, your motive was to prove that black people are bad and a danger to society. Do you think that a White kid has never been beat up for being a ******-lover or "acting black"? It is sad that the girl couldn't get help and that the people who attacked her were able to get away with it when she tried to stop this from happening.
As for black leaders, you have no idea what they do and are far from an expert on them. Racism, discrimination and crime is what gets media attention. Programs, role models, mentors and people who take time to educate poor kids and put them on the right path do not. Do you feel anything for this girl? I think not. When a black gang member shoots another gang member, the last thing on their mind is someone acting white. This whole "acting white" or being anti-white thing is very uncommon. They were jealous of her and ignorant. Black people are not sitting around plotting against white people. Again, most violent crime committed by blacks is done against blacks just like in this story. How many White girls do you think they passed in the mall while harrassing this black girl? If they wanted to hurt a white person, they could've.

I have several white friends who live in predominantly black areas in their respective cities. They have never been attacked. One of those friends lived in an area that even I refused to live in. She called me a wimp and said all of the stories about that neighborhood were exaggerated. There is no need to challenge because plenty of white people are already doing what you think is impossible.

The security guards should no longer consider themselves men. What a bunch of cowards. Job be damned, you have a duty as a man to step in and try and prevent a situation like that from happening.

Every time a black person does something wrong, all black people do not agree nor are they responsible. You are making generalizations. You said if this was a white girl, she just would have taken a beating. Maybe, maybe not. Maybe the cops would have escorted her to the bus stop as she requested. Maybe not. Maybe the public outrage would be greater because a White girl was beaten by blacks. If it were a White kid beaten by White kids, you probably wouldn't have started this thread. We have no way of knowing but either way, when she asked for protection, she knew what she was dealing with and should have been protected --bottom line.
Bringing USDOJ stats and black leaders into this is uncalled for. Any time a person committs a crime, they become a statistic, no matter what the race. If racism didn't exist and slavery never happened, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson would not be who they are. I do not agree with everything they do and they are not the only black leaders, they are the ones you see on television and they show up when they feel that racism or a civil rights violation occured. This is not a civil rights issue. If anyone is going to speak on this, it should be parents who demand that security and police protect their children when they ask to be protected.
