According to your argument, why stop at ipods.. why not give out new Rolls Royces.. They are after all hand made and will employ a lot more than ipods..

Great use of federal funds.

I'm glad they did away with this idiotic program.

Correction: Our original story incorrectly said money for the iPods was from federal stimulus funds. The money the district was going to use is from the federal government and is to be used specifically for programs for developmentally disabled students. It is separate from federal stimulus dollars.

I'm glad they canceled the program...it sounds like they are conducting some high level CYA now.
