it is skull and bones...and yes he does, along with a lot of other prevalent leaders of the U.S.

I brought up a conspiracy in another thread and was told I was flaky

...to me, in this world, a world of power driven human beings...anything is possible, especially when you study history.

People in the U.S. are strongly in denial, they fear believing something outside the realm of their comfort zone...which they in fact have created for themselves as their own special little worlds.

Conspiracy theories very fascinating to think about, have not delved into them much, just what I hear or read in passing. But would not be surprised if time doesn't out some of them. We are a nation in denial for sure, but there is an axiom: When you deny reality, eventually it will deny you. It is easy in this nation of overabundance and extreme comforts to keep wearing rose colored glasses about the "dirty little secrets" of our government. That would mean we would have to DO something about it. And as we know, the majority of people are "talkers" not "doers" (taken from another thread).

We have been under the control of a "power elite" since no qualified citizens are allowed to run for office. Just try and get on the ballot, good luck. They are running out of tricks to prop up the devastated economy, and I fear that a civil war will erupt when the economy finally collapses.

Yes, I do to...

I cannot believe there are women out there who actually say, in this day and age, they're voting for Clinton b/c she's a woman...how utterly stupid...
and by the way, I'm a woman....VOTE FOR ME WHY DON't CHA I'm lean and mean and will tell you like it is...at least you know where you stand with me...I don't believe it's going to be an easy job...might take years to clean up what has already been done...and I want CIA and special OPs groups surrounding me at all times...and I'm single and not a racist...but believe in the best man getting the job...I also believe that welfare breeds welfare and in correcting our info structure as well as securing our boarders. I believe in medical research, but also believe no corporate CEO is worth what they're being paid, let alone all those directors who are paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to consultants to tell them how to do their jobs...and I don't believe in outsourcing...I believe that American's should also produce the majority of their products and food...or trade what we have for food and products from other countries....I believe in freedom of speech and that every American Citizen should be a working member of the community. I believe everyone who is not legal shall be deported and allowed to come back in legally, under a legal immigration system that is monitored and it's people are followed. I believe colleges should stop demanding students to take subjects if it doesn't pertain to their electives....I believe education of American's is first and foremost...meaning moral education...including self help, self confidence and parenting classes.

I don't believe in abortion, however, abortion has been around for hundreds of years, and will be around regardless if it is legal or not...and if you make it illegal, all you do is make a lucrative business for those who would practice it illegally...it has been and will always be, and if we don't legalize it, then there will always be people running to butchers to have it done with coat hangers, and I certainly don't agree with that either...so abortion should be choice...

I dislike crime...so I'm all for building bigger prisons....making them not nice places to go...no workout rooms, no right to obtain a college degree while in prison...no rights at all, once you are in prision...and so, now, criminals will have a place to go, and if they've committed a murder, and there are several witnesses to those murders or a person abuses a child sexually, he/she will be put to sleep by lethal injection, or spend the rest of their lives in prison.

These are just some issues that no one is giving any solid answers on, and we certainly do deserve to know what they are going to do...not I have a plan...I want a full description of how these people plan to work for us? Yanno?

That's the crux of it; those who "woo" us, and then betray us, are in for a lot more of our disgust, than those who we never trusted from the beginning...
AMEN, just look at Clinton, the women love him....

Now the President wants to pass this insane amnesty bill and says anyone who oposses it is anti-American. I submit now that President Bush may possibly have been a Liberal from the beginning and has been working with left in an effort to destroy the Republican party.

Will the real conservatives please stand up and fight for our country, before it is too late.
Please define what a "real" conservative is.

A lot of conservative idols have stood behind Bush for a long time: Hannity, Rush, Coulter, Robertson, O'Reilly, et. al. Fox News is practically the televised voice of the RNC. They're both staunch Bush supporters. These people love to apply labels. Now that Bush has shown you a side of him you don't like, you want to label him a "liberal". Sorry, but it doesn't work that way.

Bush is the poster boy for conservatism and for the GOP. Just ask him or Rove and they'll tell you all about it. He's been looking out for corporations, not the country, since the get go. Every time somebody disagreed with Bush's policies, they got labeled as liberals.

If you feel like you've been had, you probably have. That's what happens when you fall for arbitrary labels, blanket statements, and listening only to what you want to hear. Blind faith is appropriate for matters of the soul. Blind faith in politics will lead to disappointment.

Neither side is always right and not one side is always wrong. Most of the time, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. And sometimes the truth hurts. Never mind what a politician says, watch what he does. Be suspect of any politician who wears his religion on his sleeve and uses it to gain political advantage. Chances are said politician is morally bankrupt. Don't let TV pundits do your research. Don't accept as gospel what a few pundits say on TV. Wonder about what they're NOT saying. Reading history can be boring and that's why few people learn from it. And that's why history repeats itself.

You oppose Bush's immigration bill. Are you anti-American? I don't think you are. But see what happens when you apply labels?

I think the country would be better served if ALL Americans stood up for their country and its constitution. Remember that Americans are never going to agree amongst themselves all the time. If we did, you might as well call us Soviets and not Americans. BTW, there are a few people out there who still think Bush can do no wrong

Of course there are conspiracy theories that are just theories, but there is a reason that there are laws against conspiring for ill intent. Therefore, there are conspirancies that are not theories! This is one of them. The current administration has given us enough proof that they have conspired against the United States and it's citizens, not to mention the Constitution. We are a nation of laws, that was the intentions of the Founding Fathers. These reptiles have sold America out! They are guilty of high treason and should be tried for these crimes. What is Congress waiting for?

I tend to agree with most of this except building more prisons. I would like to see the prison population reduced by 90%. The remaining mentally ill can be housed in a decent facility along with those who voluntarily commit themselves. My view is to punish criminals, not warehouse them. Also want to eliminate all wrongful prosecution. Repealing drug laws and needless restrictions will go a long way to reducing crime. Making district attorneys personally responsible for mistakes will help as well. Educating the general public and better tracking of those with mental issues or disposed to crime would go a long way toward preventing more people from being victimized. Imagine a rapist ending up at the end of a gun barrel instead of jail....Nice!

Unfortunately since we are a defacto 2 party system and no one has had the temerity to start the ACP (American Conservative Party) by default to protect this nation from the policies and idealogies of the left we vote republican, just as you feel the exact same way but opposite and vote dem.

I would prefer 4 parties; reps, dems, socialists and conservatives. Most reps are conservatives and most dems are socialists, this board lends evidence to both of these statements. Both party nominees will have to pander to those factions of each party in order to get the nominee. However, you will always have your RINOS, i.e Shwarzanegger, Specter and Giuliani as wells as your DINOS, i.e Lieberman, Zell Miller and Baye. A 4 party system would allow people to find a viable party in which they really agree with.

At least we have finally found common ground. No one wants to claim Bush. lol
Right On!!!!!! I have been saying this for years....we need more parties, and an odd number of parties to keep the politicians honest....you have stated a very very good point...I'm so sick and tired of going back and forth, Republican....Democrate, that I am not registered Independent...and I believe if more people would do that, it would send a great message....also, your right, Bush is not only more liberal then he is republican...but a disgrace to this nation, and his admistration is no better....they don't know their jobs...it is a person disgrace what they have done with New Orleans. I was sitting there for 3 days, watching the atrocity on TV and kept wondering what it was going to take to get the army and national guard in there....you don't wait until your asked, you get your butts off the sofa and do something...people's lives were at stake, and then Brownie?????? Sheeesh.....

When this is all over with, Bush and his administration will go down in history as the worst leaders ever in the history of the U.S.

Just my thoughts.
