Interesting to note, the DA at the time was one William Delahunt, now the Congressman (D-Mass) from the 10th district in MA. The same day as the shooting the Boston Globe noted Delahunt may not seek re-election.

I'd guess now he definitely won't seek re-election. His role in brooming the case is bound to be investigated.
Time to check Delahunt's campaign contributions.

well actually they waited 11 full days before interviewing her.

the police report is a joke. she claims she 'didn't recall' putting on her coat and running out the door, shotgun in hand

A friend described her as a far-left political radical obsessed with Obama. I'm thinking that such people (Lefties) should be put in the same class as felons and the mentally unstable and not be allowed to purchase guns. (Just kidding!)

That's gross to try to use what she did as a platform to promote some political idiology....

That's why more and more people are becoming disquested with both the left and right....

how the hell did this woman get hired? you'd think there weren't enough red flags already

Amy Bishop was charged with assault in 2002 IHOP dispute - Local News Updates - The Boston Globe

"In March, 2002, Bishop walked into an International House of Pancakes in Peabody with her family, asked for a booster seat for one of her children, and learned the last seat had gone to another mother.

Bishop, according to a police report, strode over to the other woman, demanded the seat and launched into a profanity-laced rant.

When the woman would not give the seat up, Bishop punched her in the head, all the while yelling "I am Dr. Amy Bishop.""

Alabama shooter is 'far-left political extremist who was 'obsessed' with President Obama'. Sounds like a few of the Bot's we have here on CD.

She's an out and out kook which is becoming a disturbing trend in college campuses these days, both with students and faculty. But whatever her radical political leanings, try to have some sympathy and compassion for the victims. Make this about them and how we can start making college campuses safer and screen students, faculty and staff better.
