What?? interracial relation ships are a problem?? As a mixed person, i do support interracial relation ships, shoot, i date outside both or my races and prefer asian, whats wrong with that? it makes no sense!!
It's 2010 people, and times have changed; I must admit, but does an interracial relationship still ring "TABOO" and in our minds. I know sometimes I'll see an interracial couple and I feel like they're looking at me to see if I disapprove, or is it just in my head?. I have no problem with interracial relationships, but I'm curious if most of the public still does have a problem. So I want to know people of City-Data, how do you feel? Please let me see your opinions.. White men with Black Women, Black Men with White Women. Asian Men with White Women/vice versa.. Hispanic Men and Black Women ... you get my point.. let me know how you feel?
Not in over forty years, since I got out of high school and became an adult.
i don't believe in "race". intercultural might be a word that better reflects the real issue facing those who choose for whatever reason to put the baggage behind them and expand their dating pool. After all, whites and blacks have cultural differences in this country. I confronted my own ignorance as an undergraduate in college. A white girl was hanging out with me a lot and it never even occurred to me that she was interested in me romantically. I am a black male and it was years of living in the south that was my baggage.....i realized it and we dated for 3 years!!

Did it ever? Few people care anymore, some never did. With the exception of the Deep South.
