Drat. Does that mean that I have to go out and rent a husband and son.
I really preferred my life without either of those models.
FWIW, when I was in high school, most girls wouldn't wear skirts because they owned ones that violated the dress code of our district. The rule was they had to go below the knees. No girls I knew wore skirts that long aside from the fundamentalist religious ones.
So, I'm a skinny guy. Can't help it. 140lbs 5'9" eating A LOT of food and working out A LOT. I'm naturally hairless. I can't grow a beard, nor can I grow chest hair (being half black, genetically less likely to be hairy...no need to be covered in the tropics). I wear tighter fitting clothing since I'm a thinner guy (I would look stupid wearing larger clothes). I'm also bisexual...which some would argue isn't manly...to that I say, whatever.
Because of the way genetically I am, does this metric mean that those that are genetically similar to me are less of a man?
I stand up for what I believe in. I've been involved in sports most of my life (not that playing sports involves being manly). I don't like shopping and I feel that the metrosexual trend isn't the feminization of men, but rather the increased commercialization and excess of society. I know my way around a computer and have built fences, put in cabinets, etc.
A man shouldn't be defined by chest hair or size, but rather content. If you are a metrosexual type guy, that's fine...as long as you have substance to you. We should have multiple def. of what a man is. Not just one.
You know what.. Since you're not the only guy who's expressed similar sentiments, I'm gonna have to chime in.
I've had quite a bit of chest hair since I was 16. I started growing facial hair when I was 14. It's quite visible on my face after I just shaved a couple days ago. I'm not skinny, not fat and just not gonna go there..
I agree with you completely on what I have bolded in your comment. And you know what? THAT'S NOT WHAT'S HAPPENING! Men are being judged for our masculine biology. What if I wanna have facial hair? How is it that something that is masculine (do women have facial hair? no? I guess that makes it masculine, common sense) is considered unnattractive.
Stop switching it around... What I have bolded in your comment is exactly the problem. And you got the upper hand so don't play the damn victim.

I shave my arms and legs. It doesn't make me "less manly". Just makes me someone who doesn't like body hair. I only want hair on my head and my-----um, nevermind.
